When I try thinking positively about myself it is no contender against the facts about myself
Thinking positively I can do it, when I know I can’t, then I won’t, I’ll just pretend one day I might
When I tell myself I am good, when I know I am bad then I am still bad with just a sugar coating of good on top.
It is not more positive thinking you need
It’s an understanding of the unhelpful thoughts about yourself you have choosen to believe
Then you are free to believe anything about yourself you choose.
